LaVar Ball Is Removing His Son, LiAngelo, From UCLA

"We are exploring other options with Gelo", LaVar Ball told Jeff Goodman of ESPN. "He's out of there". LiAngelo was one of three UCLA basketball players arrested on suspicion of shoplifting.

Ball and fellow freshmen basketball players Cody Riley and Jalen Hill were suspended indefinitely by the school following the shoplifting issue in China. "He wasn't punished this bad in China".

"They don't know how to coach my son", LaVar Ball said in November, according to Bleacher Report.

It's doubtful that LiAngelo Ball can land a big contract in Europe, but there might be some teams willing to sign him. "We respect the decision he and his family have made, and we wish him all the best in the future".

Those options will not include transferring to another school. LiAngelo is eligible to enter the NBA Draft in 2018.

Meanwhile the oldest Ball brother, Lonzo, 20, is struggling during his rookie season with the Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 8.7 points, on 31.3 percent shooting from the field, and seven assists per game.

There's now at least one less place to interview LaVar Ball. Trump then stated that he didn't receive proper appreciation from LaVar Ball and later posted on Twitter: "I should have left them in jail!"

The three haven't been allowed to play, practice or travel with the Bruins since.

If the National Basketball Association draft is the family's focus, Ball might have an uphill battle.
