Lacefront Tangle: Nicki Minaj Beefing With BET Over This Petty Tweet

BET apologized to Minaj for the tweet

Also on Monday, Cardi B - who has been characterized as a rival to Minaj - deleted her Instagram account after posting an expletive-laden video in which she described receiving a torrent of online abuse ahead of and after her win on Sunday.

The apology came after a tweet from BET made fun of Minaj while praising Cardi B's Grammy win.

Minaj has not responded to the statement or said whether she plans to rejoin the show's lineup.

After the network tweeted a shady comment about the "Chun-Li" rapper, Nicki announced that she, nor her Young Money team, will be a part of their upcoming BET Experience or BET Award show, despite being the headliners for both events.

It's after a fan questioned why she didn't win a Grammy.

After huddling amongst themselves, BET brass has emerged and issued a statement to let Nicki Minaj and the world know that they did not give the green light to the insulting post and to 0pledge their undying love for the Queen emcee. "And further does not reflect our company values".

And the very next day Cardi B was not only showing off her battle scars but also engaged in a war of words.

Only time will tell if Weezy will boycott this year's BET Hip-Hop Awards, but for now, don't expect to see Nicki.

But, someone jumped out the window by adding the following excerpt: "Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront".

"Nicki Minaj has been at the top of her game for way too long to not have had a Grammy".

Minaj tweeted: "I pissed off the same man Ariana just called out for lying". "We deeply apologize for the hurt, disappointment and confusion that this post has caused".

The "Money" singer and performer was nominated for five Grammy Awards.

The rapper said she worked hard and throughout her pregnancy on her first album Invasion of Privacy.
