Kylian Mbappe gets new number at PSG after World Cup win

So, with Barcelona's rivals Real Madrid looking for a replacement following the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo then many had believed Neymar was ready to upsticks in France and return to Spain, but the talented South American has told Fox Sports that he is not planning to move away from the French capital.

Neymar has refuted accusations of going to ground too easily, with the Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil forward suggesting that his dribbling ability makes him a target for rough treatment.

"I continue, I have a contract with Paris Saint-Germain, I went there for a challenge, for having new things and for the pursuit of objectives, and nothing changed in my head", Neymar added.

"I've been through this a lot", said Neymar.

Real however have also been linked to a move for Chelsea's Belgium World Cup star Eden Hazard, who indicated on Saturday he was keen to leave the London club.

"I would not go as far as to say I did not want to play again but I did not want to see a ball or to see any more football played", the Santos youth academy graduate said.

There were claims that Neymar did not congratulate Mbappe, his teammate at PSG, after the 19-year-old helped France win their second World Cup in history.

"No, all the great players feel pressure", he said. We knew that for a while, I am with him on a daily basis and know just how much quality he has.

"In the face of the constant reports linking PSG's Neymar our club, Real Madrid C.F. wish to clarify that the club has no intention of making any offer for the player", a Real Madrid statement said last week.

Those rumours have only increased since Ronaldo's sensational move to Serie A, with both he and PSG team-mate Kylian Mbappe as possible heirs to the record-breaking striker.
