Kroos relieved to make amends for Germany at World Cup

Javier Hernandez scored his 50th worldwide goal to help Mexico take a big step towards the last 16 of the World Cup with an impressive win over South Korea, despite Son Heung-min's stunning late strike.
El Tri have already beaten Germany and South Korea in their opening two games and are now top of their group, with just a point needed to secure their spot in the last 16.
It's been a tournament of much promise but little reward for South Korea, especially for star player Heung-min Son.
"There isn't one thing that will make us create history", Hernandez said before the World Cup at the team's media day in Los Angeles. Should they win by the same margin (or both draw), whichever team scores the most goals in their final match would advance. That's what makes this game very awkward for Sweden.
Sweden take on a Mexico side that has defeated Germany and South Korea and sits on six points from two games, but the Scandinavian side are confident of a victory to keep them in the competition.
South Korea's defence may be the most welcoming they've faced so far in Russian Federation, which could allow them to find their feet.
Another Germany player to have been criticised for his performances in Russian Federation is Thomas Muller, and Low saluted his willingness to self-evaluate during a "long chat" they had earlier in the tournament.
They still have an astute coach and a bunch of very talented players who showed their fighting spirit against Sweden, and they should overcome limited, toothless opposition here. He has stated that his greatest dream and the aim of this national team in Russian Federation is to win the World Cup. Although it's likely that Germany will have more possession, we will do our best.
Here's all you need to know about when the match is on, where it'll take place, how to watch, key players to what and what the current match odds are.
That equalled the best appearance by Mexico at a World Cup.
Mexico have only lost one of their last five matches against the Swedes (W2 D2), though they've all been friendlies. After an unsatisfactory performance throughout the course of the game, Toni Kroos's sublime free-kick in the last minute won the game for Die Mannschaft. But one player who has kept a consistent level in Germany's two games is Reus, who has looked a constant threat in attack with his presence in the area and craft.
