Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is a beautiful 80s throwback releasing this month

Inti Creates and developer Koji Igarashi have announced Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon - a retro 8-bit style action game based on the upcoming Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is set to release May 24th, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, and PC via Steam. The Kickstarter campaign raised $5,545,991. Backers have been asked to specify which platform they would like to access the spin-off game on, but they found out the hard way that GOG.com was not one of those platforms. Players will be able to toggle between four characters on the fly: Zangetsu, a sword-wielding demon slayer, fearless whip-bearer Miriam, sly alchemist Alfred, and Gebel, a misanthrope who for some reason, has undergone crystal transplant surgery.

Koji Igarashi's Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night still hasn't seen the light of day yet, but now we are learning that it is getting a spin-off.

It features multiple endings that change according to the choices the gamer makes and on how you interact with characters you meet.

Igarashi, typically flamboyant in his cowboy hat, introduced Curse of the Moon's basic gameplay, characters, and unmistakably retro aesthetic.

Koji Igarashi, a Japanese developer who is well-known for his work on the Castlevania series and is now developing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, talked about the upcoming spin-off in an official trailer. If you backed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Kickstarter and pledged $28 or over you get this title for free via Fangamer.
