Kate Upton graces Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover for third time

This year will be no different after seeing Kate Upton's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover for 2017.

Kate Upton is so nice she's made the Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover thrice. The issue is arguably their most diverse yet, but frankly, I haven't really thought about it.

Upton is engaged to the luckiest person on the face of the planet Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander.

Former No.1 Wozniacki is a Swimsuit Issue veteran and has featured in the last three editions.

Upton pointed to another cover and said with a laugh: "And I think that the other one is just a necklace".

The gorgeous model, who People magazine says is the curviest woman to ever shoot for the issue, spoke about her experience on set and what it meant for all women.

"We didn't start off with the idea of three covers, regardless of who was on the cover", said MJ Day, SI Swimsuit editor.

There were three real covers, all featuring Upton, and mostly noteworthy due to the model's reluctance to wear an actual swimsuit. Kate doesn't waste a moment in her drive to be the best, and doesn't give herself a break in pursuing perfection.

Check them out below thanks to Upton's Instagram. "So I feel like limiting yourself to one label isn't right, you can be everything". She appeared on the show and told the host that she was only informed the previous day that the honor was hers again.

At 63, the all-American blonde appears alongside her daughters, Alexa Ray Joel, 31, and Sailor Brinkley Cook, 18.

The photos of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 edition will also be available in the SI Swimsuit app.

This issue also features a bevy of athletes, including Serena Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, Eugenie Bouchard, Simone Biles and Aly Raisman.
