Kamala Harris Labels Trump a 'Predator Living in the White House'

Kamala Harris of California raised almost $12 million the past three months, her presidential campaign announced on Friday. Biden, 77, said in an interview with CNN that was published on Friday.
"She knew Beau. She knows me", the presidential frontrunner said, referring to his late son, Beau Biden, who worked as a state attorney general like Harris. "She knew Beau, she knows me".
Harris' campaign took flight at the debate when she sparred with Biden over his past opposition to mandatory busing to integrate schools and his past work in the Senate with segregationists.
He said he supported voluntary school busing and busing when a court proved that there were actions taken to segregate schools, but that he opposed busing when it was mandated by "unelected" officials. On Wednesday, Harris told reporters in Iowa that busing students should be considered as a policy by local school districts, rather than through a federal mandate like the type she advocated when confronting Biden.
The interview made clear that Biden, who is facing criticism from the left of the party amid an increasingly contentious Democratic primary, does not feel the need to sway to the left to capture the party's base and, instead, hopes to set himself apart by embracing his moderation. The former vice president said he would not eliminate private insurance like the Sanders proposal intends, but would offer Medicare as an option for anyone who wants to buy into the system.
Boosted by a debate performance that launched her into double digits in multiple polls and re-energized her campaign, Sen. "One debate doesn't kill a candidate, but if there is a second one like that he is in trouble", she said.
"No, I don't", Biden said when asked if he supports the proposal.
The tally fell short of the second-quarter hauls announced by South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg ($24 million), former Vice President Joseph R. Biden ($21 million) and Sen.
In the debate on June 27, Harris challenged Biden on his reputation as a civil rights advocate with receipts and a personal anecdote about having to bus to school in Berkeley, California. "I think people should have to get in line, but if people are coming because they're actually seeking asylum, they should have a chance to make their case". "I could imagine that, but thankfully that's not where we are today". Show me something ahead of time, ' Biden said of North Korea, faulting Trump for his openness with the rogue nation and its leader, Kim Jong Un. He's the bully that I've always stood up to. "What she was pointing out was a very real disagreement on the record", Adams continued.
