Kaalakaandi Teaser: Saif Ali Khan Has 'No Idea' What He's Doing

Saif To Play A Gravely Ill Character

Saif Ali Khan is known as one of the few Indian actors who is open to challenging roles which need a lot of experimentation.

Saif Ali Khan is all set to headline the cast of Sacred Games, Netflix's first original series in India.

Helmed "Delhi Belly" writer Akshat Verma and produced by Cinestaan Film Company and Flying Unicorn Entertainment the thriller is now scheduled to hit the screens on September 8, 2017. One look at the teaser, and we can not understand if his character is high on drugs, or just high in general. He is doing the craziest things without even realising why he is doing so.

Saif, whose career got a major boost with the new-age drama, Dil Chahta Hai at the turn of the millennium, has once again proved that he has no qualms warming up to a new, contemporary digital medium, something that most A-listers in Bollywood are yet to fully embrace. The teaser has left us as surprised as Saif's look in the film. It's a cross section of Mumbai with underworld goons, doomed bankers and idealistic lovers all mixed together in this karmic tale about love, crime and living a lifetime in one night!

Here's the teaser of Saif Ali Khan's Kaalakaandi.

Could his career, which has seen a spate of box-office duds like Rangoon, Phantom, Humshakals be revived with the Netflix show? The movie also features Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raz, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam in crucial roles.

Kaalakaandi is slated to release on September 8. The film released earlier this year.
