Julian Edelman shaves massive playoff beard on 'Ellen'

McVay worked under Shanahan in Washington and Hoyer said he realized he knew the offense while watching Amazon's All or Nothing series on the Rams as well as the episode of Peyton Manning's ESPN series about Jared Goff. Ellen offered to donate $10,000 to one of his favorite charities, the Boys & Girls Club of America, in exchange for shaving the beard off. Edelman agreed to it, and even matched her $10K donation.

He fielded several questions about the season and his facial feature, including how he maintains the beard and if he is every tackled by defenders pulling on it. Edelman said he has not cut his beard this season.

"I love you, beard", he joked before the big cut. "I apologize. It'll never happen again". "This is what I sacrificed all my time for - my friends, my family, everything like that", Edelman explained.

While this latest victory is still very fresh, it hasn't taken Belichick long to make what feels like a yearly update to something special in his life: renaming his fishing boat to show off his latest title.

Super Bowl LIII MVP and former Kent State football player Julian Edelman is looking a little different these days. The Patriots won 13-3.

Belichick has this thing that he says: 'Put everything in the drawer and [don't] worry about it until it's done.

"Eating is a nightmare", Edelman told host Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her eponymous daytime talk show that aired Friday. He also spoke about his determination to play football.

Hopefully someone touched up the shave Ellen gave him before he left the studio.
