Today the Kingdom plays Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Tonga and Cook Islands are trying win a place on the next Sevens World Series at the qualifying tournament in Hong Kong.

Second placed New Zealand has 106 points, with third placed Fiji on 101 points.

To add to the excitement, the series' top four finishers this year will automatically qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Argentina and France lead the way in Pool B following victories against Canada and Portugal respectively.

Battered Kenya will on Sunday take on Canada in Hong Kong Sevens Challenge Trophy quarter-finals after they lost all their Pool "C" matches in Hong Kong.

South Africa, who went through Pool "A" unscathed, beating Japan 22-7, Scotland 26-10 and Samoa 21-7, face United States of America in the Cup quarterfinals.

The World Series Qualifier tournament runs alongside the main event, with the victor qualifying for the 2019/20 World Series as a core team.

In their first game on Saturday, the Blitzboks beat Scotland 26-10, while they beat Japan 22-7 on Friday.

Speaking at the captains' launch U.S. captain Madison Hughes said: "It's been a good run with four cup finals to kick off the year, getting the win in Vegas and making the semi-final in Vancouver and that's the key for us in targeting the top four. We're excited for that and we believe in ourselves and we're going to give it everything we've got".

"Here we are sitting in first place". "We'll take every opportunity in every game where it comes and see where it takes us". "Obviously an Olympic year is huge for everybody".
