India prepares for launch of Chandrayaan-2 moon mission

Even after the rover ceases operations, the orbiter is expected to keep working for roughly a year. The US and Russian Federation have also been to the same region.

The soft landing on Moon's surface is likely to be on September 6 or September 7. "The site will also be determined while descending".
