'I believe in the First Amendment and boobs'

A CNN panel discussion featuring Keith Reed Brooke Baldwin and Clay Travis

"Because I like boobs and the first amendment, which is exactly what I said".

"That had absolutely nothing to do with sports, and they said, look, you can't have this opinion, it's too conservative, we're not going to allow it", Travis reasoned.

Wow I think Fox Sports Clay Travis is some Stern wanna be. Travis repeated the line several times, never fully clearing up the intention behind his statement.

Evidently that was the point Travis was attempting to make during his weird rant: since ESPN fired Curt Schilling for making anti-trans bathroom comments, it should be consistent and also discipline Hill.

"Boobs. Two things that have only never let me down in this entire country's history, the First Amendment and boobs", Travis responded.

A sports radio personality was yanked off air after repeating a credo about the First Amendment and female anatomy. As if there's debate about the existence of boobs-but then again, there are flat-Earthers and climate change deniers, so maybe Travis has brushed up against fringe anti-boob movements.

Baldwin was understandably stunned and wasn't sure she heard Travis correctly, but he continued to repeat the word over and over.

"I said boobs. I believe completely in the 1st Amendment and boobs", he said, raising his count to five.

Travis later added that he "triggered" CNN with his views, adding that he says it every day on his own program. Hill, a SportsCenter host and woman of color, called President Trump a white supremacist, drawing the ire of White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who branded it a "firing offense".

"I'm a supporter of women in their careers". He also said he's been invited back on CNN.

Travis said ESPN's numbers are "collapsing" and that is why Hill made her remark on Twitter, speculating that she is "begging for ESPN to fire her so she can work somewhere else".
