Dr. Cantley and his team explained that when Vitamin C enters the human arteries this becomes oxidized by the organism and some of its parts are transformed into a different acid called dehydroascorbic acid, also known as DHA. "This combination of characteristics makes these cancer cells far more vulnerable to DHA than normal cells or other types of cancer cells".   The new study by the group also stipulates who should receive the drug and who should not.
