Catch Game of Thrones Mondays on M-Net (DStv 101) Express from the United States at 03:00 or during primetime at 22:00.

"This is unusual. Here we are, at the last table read, and it's like looking around and seeing your family", he says, voice filled to the brim with emotion. Once we've had a few days to recover, we'll get to step behind the curtain and see how the magic was made with HBO's Game of Thrones: The Last Watch documentary.

Anyway, the trailer for the documentary dropped overnight, and it'll premiere on HBO on May 26.

For a year, acclaimed British filmmaker Jeanie Finlay was embedded on the set of the hit HBO series, chronicling the creation of the show's most ambitious and complicated season. "Much more than a "making of" documentary, this is a amusing, heartbreaking story, told with wit and intimacy, about the bittersweet pleasures of what it means to create a world - and then have to say goodbye to it".

Meantime, the Game of Thrones' spin-off with the working title Bloodmoon has reportedly started filming in Belfast. The behind-the-scenes look should be enough for fans to get some closure, at least until the prequel shows debut.

Along with a shot of Kit Harington, a.k.a. Jon Snow, tearing up as the significance of the occasion sinks in, the trailer features showrunner D.B. Weiss waxing poetic about the show's end. The Last Watch will follow the cast and crew as they deal with weather vagaries and dodge spoiler-hungry fans.
