Gwyneth Paltrow, Brad Falchuk confirm engagement

No matter what Gwyneth Paltrow's dubious health website tells you, please talk to your doctor before shooting coffee into your colon.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow on Tuesday announced her engagement to United States television producer Brad Falchuk, saying she had chose to give marriage a second shot after accepting "the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities" of intimacy.

'We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failure can serve as building blocks for one healthy and happy relationship, ' the pair said in their Good Morning America official statement. She further added; "I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be".

So why did the actress decide to give marriage another shot?

Media outlets had previously reported that Paltrow and Falchuk actually got engaged a year ago and said that she was wearing an engagement ring.

Gwyneth and Brad have been together for nearly four years.

What most normal people call "divorce", Gwyneth Paltrow calls a "conscious uncoupling" - or at least that was the phrase the actress and Chris Martin used to describe their separation back in 2014.

Paltrow and Falchuk were first linked in July 2014 following the actress' split from Martin. In addition to staring in a loved up black-and-white cover shoot together, the couple also share some sweet messages about their love and how happy they are to be taking this next step together. "She has found the right guy".

Paltrow met Falchuck during her guest arc on "Glee," where she recurred as substitute teacher Holly Holiday.
