The only unbeaten team in the NFC faces its toughest test Sunday afternoon when the surprising San Francisco 49ers visit the defending conference champion Los Angeles Rams at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum.
Rams running back Todd Gurley won't play in Los Angeles' divisional meeting with the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers on Sunday because of a bruised left thigh.
Coach Sean McVay confirmed Gurley, outside linebacker Samson Ebukam and safety John Johnson III were forced out of their homes because of the fires. "A lot of these conversations entail (how Gurley is) feeling, what kind of progress does he make throughout the course of the week". Despite the extra days off, Gurley will miss his first game of the season.
Rams cornerback Aqib Talib also did not practice Wednesday and is day-to-day because of a rib injury, McVay said. Gurley, who has dealt with knee issues for quite some time, is now doubtful with a quad injury.
Defensive end Dee Ford practiced again, but was limited.
"He'd be better in tune to say exactly how he feels", McVay said. "A mature player for a rookie". "What you know is you've got a lot of confidence in Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson".
Week 5 was Bosa's most impressive outing of the season.
