There are giant tentacle monsters, swarm of spaceships, a golden villainess, a new cast of misfits (Mantis, Nebula), and lots of explosions.

The extended look at the sequel shows Peter Quill (Pratt) meeting an older man who reveals himself to be Peter's long-lost father Ego, the Living Planet, played by Kurt Russell.

The new trailer also introduces the new villain Ayesha, who aspires to "cleanse the universe" of fear and jealousy.

Featuring pretty much everything you could want from a trailer for the Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel, the new Vol. 2 footage is another chunk of riotous entertainment.
