Google Pixel 4 XL renders shows its bezels would be big

RIP Pixel C

Samsung will take the stage in August to unveil the Galaxy Note 10 series at the next Unpacked event. Because it's anticipated to be sold by most major carriers, that is the year Google must make the Pixel a genuine mass-market contender. It is nearly confirmed Google will announce Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL later this year. OnLeaks gets access to leaked CAD files for phones, and then creates renders based on them.

We've already had some official sneak peaks at the Pixel 4 thanks to none other than Google, but official images just don't feel as fun as leaked images sourced from places unknown.

The next-gen Pixel 4 is expected to be more advanced when it comes to imaging because from a single rear setup, it will have at least two. The first prominent difference is slightly slim bezel at the bottom as opposed to the Pixel 4.

Following on from the bona fide shots of the Google Pixel 4 last month courtesy of Google itself, a Twitter leaker has knocked up renders of the Pixel 4XL.

Google has ditched the notch and has gone back to using a thick notch to house the dual front-facing cameras, earpiece, and two other sensors.

The device doesn't have a physical fingerprint scanner on the rear side.

The Pixel 4 XL is tipped to come in a Mint Green colour option, alongside a white and black variant as well. Moreover, the Pixel 4 is said to feature a 5.6 or 5.8-inch screen, measuring 147×68.9×8.2 mm (or 9.3mm thick). The phone's rear panel is reportedly made out of glass.

Google has never been particularly interested in making its Pixel phones stand out from the crowd.

The sides are more rounded than ever and the power and volume switches are both on the right-hand side. There is also a USB Type-C port in the middle. The 3.5mm headphone jack is again missing.

Most of the details regarding the Pixel 4 XL specs are in the dark. Let's hope 6GB of RAM. A new set of renders showcase the Pixel 4 XL's primary features and design. The Pixel 4 XL is expected to make an appearance later this year and with only a few months left before the unviel, the renders express quite a lot.
