Fulham complete loan signing of Atlético Madrid forward Luciano Vietto

Report: Fulham in talks with Atletico Madrid over Oscar Pinchi

Fulham have made yet another move in this summer's transfer window with the confirmation that Manchester United youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah will spend the season on loan at Craven Cottage.

Croydon-born Hodgson, 71, took over at Palace in September a year ago after Frank de Boer was sacked following four defeats in his first four league matches.

There were also the incoming loanees Sergio Rico, the Seville goalkeeper and the Atletico Madrid striker, Argentine Luciano Vietto. Newly promoted Fulham beat competition from Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin for his services, sources told ESPN FC.

"We are looking to build on the hard work and results achieved last season and I believe this is the most important part of making that happen".

The Netherlands worldwide, who has made 21 senior appearances for United since his debut under Louis van Gaal in 2016, played 24 games for Palace last season.

Fulham begin their Premier League campaign at home to Crystal Palace on August 11.

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic may have spent over £100 million ($127 million, 111 million euros) on new players since gaining promotion to the Premier League but he says even they will have to prove worthy of a first team spot.

He did manage a hat trick against Las Palmas in the Copa del Rey in January, and now will be seeking more consistent form as he moves to London.
