Chelsea fans TEAR into striker after making wantaway comments

Maurizio Sarri has said he would rather quit Chelsea if the club base their decision on his future exclusively on the result of the Europa League final.

Sarri endures a hard relationship with Chelsea supporters despite leading the team to two cup finals and a third-place finish in the Premier League this season.

Chelsea battled the MLS campaigners in a postseason clash in Boston, winning 3-0, with Maurizio Sarri publicly expressing his worries about game before Gunners' clash in Baku.

Sarri and Pochettino will feature in upcoming European finals, with Chelsea to face Arsenal in the Europa League decider (May 29) and Tottenham set to meet Liverpool in the Champions League (June 1) showpiece.

Sarri is heavily tipped to succeed Massimiliano Allegri at Italian titans Juventus.

Sarri led Chelsea to third place in the Premier League and the League Cup final this season, and is now preparing his side for the Europa League final against Arsenal on May 29.

Despite the doubts of some Chelsea fans this season, there is no doubt in Sarri's mind that the season has been a success, with or without a trophy, though the addition of one would undoubtedly improve it.

"You can not [do] 10 months of work, and then I have to play everything in 90 minutes?"

Chelsea senior stars are threatening to leave the club if Maurizio Sarri remains at Stamford Bridge next season.

"I think we had a good season, with a lot of problems of course".

"I'm very happy to stay in the Premier League and Chelsea is one of the most important clubs in the Premier League. That is it. I have two more years of contract".

Will Sarri return to Italy next season?
