For Honor is Getting a Free Weekend From Thursday

It's nice to know that PS4 and Uplay users can pre-load the trial on August 8, as this trial includes the entire game, so this means that you'll get access to the entire story mode and every part of the multiplayer.

Ubisoft's been making quite the push to get more players into their melee-focused combat game For Honor. For Honor's standard and Gold editions will be on sale during the trial. All the progress you make during the free trial will be carried forward to the bought version.

Starting August 10th PlayStation Plus members will have an exclusive weekend that allows them to try out For Honor for free until August 13th 2017. With the free trial running from August 10-13, it gives players just enough time to build up some progression and decided if they want to continue that momentum with the paid version. The game will have a 50% discount (resulting in a $30 price tag) beginning August 10 to 20 for those on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The "Grudge & Glory" update will add two new heroes and new maps to the game as well as promising a complete balance overhaul.

After the game's player count on Steam fell to record lows within months of launch - although denied by Ubisoft - the publisher is now offering gamers a chance to try out the game on both consoles and PC.
