Ahead of Elizabeth's social media post confirming the incident, The Sun had reported that the 52-year-old had flown back to the United Kingdom from NY, after being informed of the distressing news.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at 20.52 on Thursday, 8 March to Ascalon Street, SW8 following reports of a stabbing".
LIZ Hurley has confirmed that her model nephew is in hospital after being stabbed in a 'brutal attack'.
Elizabeth had been filming scenes for her hit E! drama The Royals, but she was spotted arriving at Heathrow airport hours after the attack on Friday morning, and it is assumed that she flew in so that she could be by her nephew's side. Two men, a 21-year-old and a man believed to be the same age, were discovered in South West London with several stab wounds, according to police.
Thank you for all your messages. It is an appalling time for him & our family. "The police will be appealing for witnesses", she wrote.
A source told The Sun: 'His family feared the worst.
Miles is the son of Liz's older sister Kate Curran, 54, and is close to his aunt. "Fortunately it seems the knife missed his vital organs".
In 2013 she proudly tweeted one of Miles" early modelling shots, saying: "Here's my handsome nephew'. Thankfully, Miles and the other victim were taken to a nearby hospital "where their conditions are described as not life-threatening or life-changing".
ED! has reached out to Elizabeth's spokesperson for further comment.
He was signed to Next Model Management and has since worked for Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Carvalli.
