Eddie Nketiah: Arsenal loan forward to Leeds United for the season

The striker leaves Elland Road after three years and his two previous clubs, Oxford United and West Brom, will both benefit financially from sell-on clauses.

Roofe, meanwhile, posted a heartfelt farewell message to Leeds fans on Instagram .

Kemar Roofe has sealed a £7million move to Anderlecht from Leeds.

Moving to Elland Road could prove to be the ideal next step for Nketiah, who could possibly make his name by helping fire the team back in to the Premier League.

Leeds suffered heartbreak last season, losing in the Championship play-off semi-final to Derby County after having looked certainties for promotion earlier in the campaign.

"It's what you all deserve".

The 20-year-old has played 19 first-team games for the Premier League club, all but three of them as a substitute, scoring three goals in the process.

A club statement wished him well as he joins Vincent Kompany's side, saying: "We thank Kemar for his efforts whilst at the club and wish him all the best for the future". "He's a true goal-getter who will be a great asset to our team". Last season he hit 15 in a campaign shortened by injury and the season before he got 11 in a campaign that promised much yet delivered very little.

However, before that the Leeds fans will have their eyes on the transfer window as the last opportunity to sign new players quickly dwindles away.

UNITED boss Marcelo Bielsa is going in strong to sign Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah on loan.

Bielsa has also been heavily linked with making a move for Liverpool winger Ryan Kent.

According to reports, Nketiah will be having his medicals today before finalizing the loan move.
