Early Glitches Caused a Month Delay in iPhone 8 Production

Apple Stock Could Fall After Week's Launch Event- or Not

The iPhone 8, according to reports, will feature a display that will take up nearly the entire front of the device with OLED panels.

According to Macerkopf, a German website, Apple will begin the pre-orders for the iPhone 8 from September 15. The bezel-less iPhone 8 will also not sport a home button on the front, and Apple will go for an glass design with steel frames on the side. But the iPhone 8 will be in its own league when it comes to price.

Many Apple employees have already moved in and more are expected to settle in the new headquarters as Apple finalizes its construction.

A decade after the debut of the Apple iPhone, industry watchers say the latest incarnation, the iPhone 8, will be unveiled september 12 and Apple will start taking orders september 15. The Steve Jobs Theater, where the event will be held, reportedly contains a big secret that will make the unveiling more dramatic.

As for the iPhone 8, we expect Apple to have a special event to announce the release of their latest model. Well-known analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo has claimed that Apple would be selling around two to four million units of the iPhone X at launch.

Since Apple is hoping to introduce OLED in all iPhones by 2018, moving to a cheaper alternative would be the best thing to do. However, maybe all of these features are not enough to get the existing iPhone users excited.

Apple typically keeps devices updated for four years before kicking them to the curb. iOS 11 is the iPhone 6s' second upgrade and the first major update for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The anniversary-edition iPhone is likely to come with 3GB RAM and at least 32GB internal storage. The new biometric recognition feature is expected to accurately authenticate payments on Apple Pay.

Previous rumours have pointed towards the iPhone 8, or iPhone X as it may be known, going on sale on 22nd September. Other features coming to the iPhone 8 are a dual camera setup, an A11 chipset, and augmented reality.

Sacconaghi believes Apple will offer its widest assortment of iPhones yet.

The iPhone 8, or whatever Apple decides to call its anniversary edition, will be launching on September 12.
