We finally have a name for EA's next Star Wars game - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It takes place "during the dark times when the Jedi are being hunted", between the third and fourth Star Wars films.
Said EA Executive VP Patrick Soderlund in a 2016 blog post, "Over the past few years, I've had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with [Respawn founder] Vince Zampella and his group". Though Zampella didn't want to get into too many details before his team was ready to fully reveal the project, he did say it's safe to assume you'll be playing as a Jedi. No other details were released during the EA Play conference regarding this title. Barring any delays, the game sounds like the title many Star Wars fans have been waiting for. Why could it be a new Star Wars game?
The studio first announced the game a year ago. It's set between Star Wars:Episode III and Episode IV. Zampella did reveal that the game is scheduled for release in Holiday 2019. It is still unclear if the game will contain any multiplayer elements. Well, EA has the license for it and in the past, Respawn has announced that one of the games its working on is in the Star Wars universe.
