Though it has not been officially confirmed, baby No. 3 for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is really happening, and much sooner than you probably thought. In 2015, while pregnant with Saint, Kim took to her blog to detail the aftermath of what happened to her placenta, which stayed attached to her uterine wall, after she gave birth to North.

The couple is reported paying their surrogate $45,000 to carry their child.

The surrogate is now halfway through her pregnancy with Kanye and Kim's baby and is expected to have the child as planned in January.

A source told People: "The entire family is over the moon". Despite the clampdown on all of these activities, Kanye and Kim look to have found a real catch with this particular surrogate. Because Kardashian suffered from placenta accreta as well as pre-eclampsia during her first two pregnancies, her doctors advised her that carrying a third child would be too risky.

Congrats to the growing family!

Kim Kardashian expecting her third baby - via surrogate this time. "Both of them have been super involved in the process", the insider continued.

Kardashian, 36, and West, 40, were married in 2014 and have a son, Saint, who is 21 months old and a four-year-old daughter, North.

"[Kim and Kanye] want everything to be ideal and for the baby to be extremely healthy. She's obsessed with her curly hair, and if she finds someone who has the same hair, she runs to them and is like, 'You have curly hair like me?'" The woman, a college graduate and registered Democrat, is already the mother of two young boys, and is said to be in "great physical shape". "I'm not sure what her actual plan is, but I know that having a big family and coming from a big family has been important to her".

Their third little one is said to be due in January.
