Duchess Kate wears floor-length floral gown with sweeping ruffle to charity gala

The Duchess wore a floor-length gown by designer Erdem Moralioglu.

World premiere in London of Spectre was one big occasion and a few of the who's who of the United Kingdom were present at the occasion and Kate Middleton made her presence felt, just like she always does, in the most remarkable manner.

The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her classic clothing style but switched it up on Tuesday evening (27 October) with this floor-length, brightly-coloured patterned dress by Erdem, which reportedly retails for around £2,660.

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge arrives at the 100 Women In Hedge Funds Gala Dinner at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Another day, another dress coat for Kate Middleton, but we rated her feminine belted Christopher Kane coat in Dundee which she layered - rather unexpectedly - with a cool roll neck jumper.

The jury's still out on the victor of the Great British Power Dress Off, but we suddenly can't wait for Kate's next outing... The dress, which is a whopping $4,560, has a tight, high-neck bodice, but then a billowing ruffled skirt that grazes the floor.

She accessorized with her black pumps, as per usual, and a pretty black satin Anya Hindmarch Maud Clutch.

Duchess Kate has been the royal patron of The Art Room since 2012.

It was so nice to see Kate in such a glamorous number, considering earlier today she headed to a children's charity in her handsome gray, recycled Orla Kiely dress.

What is most interesting is the fact that the gown had an opening at the back, giving us a hint of the skin flashed by Kate.
