Disney Drops Speechless Music Video From the Aladdin Soundtrack

Next weekend will see Warner's big summer release of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will hit a wide 4,100 theaters on Friday. Total: Rs 10.75 crore net box office collection.

"The new version is an adaptation of Disney's 1992 Aladdin" which featured the unforgettable voice of Robin Williams as the fast-talking genie (and the less well-known actor Scott Weinger as Aladdin).

Aladdin, which is directed by Guy Ritchie, is Disney's latest trip to India's box office.

Of course, Corden needed some heavy celebrity firepower and enlisted the help of the movie's stars, Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Princess Jasmine), and Will Smith (the Genie), who shows up just in time to replace a very irate Corden as the wish-granting djinn and relegate the host to playing Aladdin's monkey pal, Abu.

On the film's opening day, Taran Adarsh said: "Aladdin dominates". Notably, 39 per cent said their affection for the original was their primary reason for seeing the film, a high percentage that reflects moviegoers' love for the Aladdin brand and the characters in the film. Regarding other films, Keanu Reeves in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, earned $24.3 million through Sunday, finishing off with $101 million in total.

Ahead of Aladdin's theatrical release, Walt Disney Pictures has dropped the full music video for Princess Jasmine's new original song "Speechless", composed by Oscar victor Alan Menken (La La Land) and co-written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (The Greatest Showman). Aladdin is recruited by Jafar, an evil Royal Vazir of Agrabah, and is tasked to collect a magic lamp from the cave of wonders.
