Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris DLC Listed On Microsoft's Digital Store
Sep 10 2017
Are you excited to learn about Osiris and travel to Mercury?Bungie marketing director Eric Osborne confirmed as much on Twitter after the listing went live. The original story follows.
Destiny 2 may have only just launched on PS4 and Xbox One, but it looks like details for Expansion I have leaked.
For those who were disappointed by the lack of content that followed the release of the first game in the series, Bungie has previously stated this won't be the case with Destiny 2.
"Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian's journey with all-new story missions and adventures in a new destination, Mercury".
The expansion is set on the new region of Mercury and is set to feature all new story missions, Equipment and features. The Burning Shrine Crucible map places players on the planet closest to the Sun, as does the Trials of Osiris' greatest reward, the Lighthouse.
That report included the Curse of Osiris name and mentioned that the add-on will also open up the Lighthouse to all Destiny 2 players as a new social space in the game.
Along with the new region and story missions, the expansion will also include new themed weapons, armor and gear, new cooperative activities and new competitive multiplayer arenas.
Destiny 2 should be getting a new expansion after its release this September. Curse of Osiris would be the first of two planned pieces of downloadable content for Destiny 2; together, they comprise the game's $34.99 Expansion Pass. "It's real!" and while knowing that we're going to Mercury is an unbelievable feeling, we still don't have a release date. The developer is now planning two expansions for Destiny 2, but have been mum on the details.
