Deal agreed for Hazard to leave Chelsea

Real Madrid to sign Eden Hazard after agreeing a fee with Chelsea

Real Madrid are set to pay £88.5m (€100m) to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.

Something tells us that Hazard and Jovic may not be the only significant summer arrivals at Real.

On Friday, the Spanish club announced that they had agreed to a five-year deal for the Chelsea star and will be presented on June 13 at the Santiago Bernabeu, pending a physical.

And Madrid have agreed terms with Hazard to double his current wages from £200,000 to £400,000 per week.

Madrid struck a deal with Chelsea that is understood could rise to a club-record fee of £150million, once all bonus payments come into play.

The Spanish giants are looking to re-build in the wake of a disappointing season that involved three managers, a disappointing exit in the last 16 of the Champions League and a pitiful title challenge that saw them finish 19 points behind Barcelona. "I can not play for another club in this country".

Real Madrid have signed Eden Hazard from Chelsea on a five-year contract after completing the most expensive transfer ever involving an English club.

"The memories he leaves us with will not fade".

News of Hazard's imminent arrival comes within 48 hours of Real tying up a move for Luka Jovic, Eintracht Frankfurt's free-scoring Serbian worldwide. "We look forward to welcoming him back to Stamford Bridge in the future".

Where will Hazard fit in at Real Madrid?

. We will see in the next couple of days.

Gareth Bale was supposed to be the man to step into the void left by the Portuguese icon but through a mixture of injuries and bad luck, it just hasn't happened for the Welshman.

Do you think Hazard can finally fill the gap Cristiano Ronaldo left at Real? As a result, the club finished without a trophy last season.
