Dark Souls Remastered has been announced for Nintendo Switch

A few week's ago, it was suggested that Dark Souls Remastered would be getting an announcement for the Nintendo Switch during the Bandai Namco event in December. The original Dark Souls was released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in 2011.

Why all the resolution talk?

DARK SOULS: REMASTERED: The first title in the genre-defining action role-playing franchise is coming to Nintendo Switch.

This means that we'll soon be able to play through the entire Dark Souls trilogy on modern consoles. Demon's Souls' servers may still be going strong two years after release, but however long they do last, I'd bet Dark Souls' servers will certainly last much longer.

After the game is announced for Switch, after few hours announcement for other platforms like PS4, Xbox One and PC will also be coming up. Hidden in the world of DARK SOULS: REMASTERED are nine online covenants to uncover that will motivate your online interactions. Nintendo has confirmed this to be the case with their Dark Souls: Remastered page. Will you get it for the Nintendo Switch or another system? The user shared a pic where the date and the game were mentioned. On Switch in TV mode, Dark Souls will run at 30 FPS in 1080p resolution. Keep your eyes locked to TiX, and you may see some Dark Souls content in the leading up to the launch of Dark Souls: Remastered. As of yet, we do not know how that will be split between cooperators and invaders.
