Cyberpunk 2077 Gets Introduced by Keanu Reeves

The internet can't stop making puns off Keanu Reeves name

During his brief speech, Keanu revealed the release date for Cyberpunk and as earth-shatteringly exciting as that is, it's not what I want to highlight in this post. If you checked out the new cinematic trailer, then you're probably curious to know more about the epic music playing throughout it. But most importantly, you get to hear Keanu shout at you to "wake the fuck up" because "we have a city to burn".

Launched at this year's Microsoft E3, the Polish publisher's Cyberpunk 2077 is a reimagining of the 1988 Pondsmith classic, Cyberpunk 2020, a sci-fi role-playing game set in a dystopian near-future.

As well as giving his likeness and voice to the game, Reeves is also providing full-body motion capture for the "legendary rockerboy" character, too. After this situation, the game has become available to pre-order on Steam and GoG as a digital reselling platform.

Keanu Reeves is out here living his best life and the internet is living for it. Following the release of a brand new trailer, the game has been confirmed for release in April 2020! They've proven they can make excellent open worlds with terrific stories based on an existing IP, so we expect nothing less from Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 is gonna be a big deal next year.

In a tweet today, Marcin Momot, Global Community Lead for the game's studio CD Projekt Red, said that the "PC version of the game in the United States is only available digitally".

And it got you a free #Cyberpunk2077 Collector's Edition on top! As a result, CD Projekt Red would prefer to show the game only when they have something refined, polished, and presumably set in stone.
