Miami is averaging 69.4 points per game on offense this season while allowing 63.7 on defense. It's the most exciting three weeks in all of sports, no doubt about it - especially if you filled out a March Madness bracket.

After one of his second-half 3-pointers, MI point guard Derrick Walton Jr. pounded his chest and took a few steps backward down the court. The problem: MI went 11 of 15 from 3-point range in the second half. The over/under total for the game is listed at 125.5 points. With just three team fouls to that point, OSU spent the next 50 seconds trying to foul in order to extend the game. Also, they get 40 percent of their offensive rebounds. Walton, Jr., felt he won, and in fairness, his team did. They've won only one NCAA game since 2006 and will have to wait at least another year to improve on that.

"I thought the team that got the best start tonight was going to have the advantage, and obviously they took advantage", MI coach Red Berenson said. The Spartans finished lower in the Big Ten standings than usual in a four-way tie for fifth, but they're still a team that anyone dreads to see in March.

"You go 11 of 15 from the 3, that's hard to do in a gym by yourself".

With the win, MI advances and will play either second-seeded Louisville or a true potential Cinderella in No. 15 Jacksonville State. The Wolverines hit an astonishing 16 three pointers on 22 attempts, including six from Derrick Walton Jr, who dropped 26 points. "I love the trust my teammates have in me". No. 11 Rhode Island (Friday, 4:30 p.m., TBS): Two months ago, Creighton was the toast of college basketball, but a season-ending injury to point guard Mo Watson has slowed down the Bluejays' Über-efficient offense.

As for Evans, his best Chris Paul impersonation with 23 points and 12 assists wasn't enough even though the Cowboys shot 54.7 percent from the floor.

"I couldn't be prouder of a group of guys. I wanted to make the right play consistently".

MI stands as the lone Big Ten ranked across the polls with even stodgy, Big Ten-hating Baseball America ranking them at 24th. PSU and Ohio State put up an identical 34 shots against their opponents, though Ohio State had a bit more luck, with 5 separate players finding the back of the net.

But as good as the Cowboys were offensively, MI was just a little bit better.

One internet report after the game came out with a report that Evans said he would most likely be back at Oklahoma State next season. He did, however, give Oklahoma State betting-backers a victory.

"That meant a lot to me, first of all, because he's never done that before", Wagner said. "I've still got this on my mind". They both hit better than 42% of their looks from deep, which clears the lane for shifty superstar Juwan Evans to either pass or cut through and score himself. He told his players to call their parents, then helped everyone else off the plane before he got out.
