The Los Angeles Clippers look to level the series against the Golden State Warriors at the Oracle Arena in Game 2 on Monday night.

Or push night, at least. Beverley immediately jumped to his feet to confront Durant as official Ed Malloy got between them and immediately ejected them.

Things came to a head with five minutes left in the fourth quarter.

This was Durant's second career postseason ejection, whereas, it's Beverley's third. Durant laughed at Beverley's taunts.

"I've been playing against Pat Bev since he was in Arkansas, so I kinda know what he brings", Durant said following Golden State's 121-104 victory, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell.

Durant had words of praise for Beverley after the game.

"For me, these last two years have felt different than the first three", Kerr said. "[Durant] took the bait, and that's two technicals". "We had to delay our film session so we could watch the last couple of holes". He's a hell of a defender who plays hard.

For his part, Clippers coach Doc Rivers was less than pleased with the officiating in the opener.

Curry shot 8-of-12 from beyond the arc for a total of 386 three-pointers made in the playoffs, surpassing Ray Allen's previous record of 385. That final made 3 was a special one, pushing Curry past Ray Allen to the top of the NBA's all-time leaderboard for 3-pointers made in the playoffs.

The reserves stepped up for the Clippers with Montrezl Harrell leading with 26 points and Lou Williams tallying 25 points and 9 assists.

In the win, Kevin Durant added an additional 23 points, four rebounds and three assists before getting ejected.
