Sarah and Kim, 61, famously fell out a year ago after it was claimed Kim's "diva demands" were the cause of the third "Sex and the City" movie's cancellation, but Sarah had put their differences aside to reach out and offer her condolences after Kim's brother Christopher was found dead. The actress posted the message on Instagram and referenced the passing of her brother, Christopher Cattrall.
"My Mom asked me today "When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?" the caption reads".
Clearly Cattrall is grieving for her brother, and she and her mother may have just been frustrated that the conversation had become about how sweet SJP was to give Cattrall a shout-out even after Cattrall kept insisting they were never friends. She then went on to write in the Instagram post that she was letting Parker know for the final time that she is not her friend and that she should stop exploiting her family tragedy. You are not my friend.
Shannon, 53, told ET that she was not aware of Cattrall's post.
Cattrall and Parker's issues began when reports came out that Cattrall was the reason for Sex and the City 3 being axed.
By now, SATC fans are probably across Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker's long-running super-feud. Kim then posted a screenshot of her reply to Sarah saying, "I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker". "The only DEMAND I ever made was that I didn't want to do a 3rd film....& that was back in 2016", she tweeted.
"The common ground that we had was the series and the series is over".
"Cynthia, hearing your voice meant so much to me". The two have been feuding for years on the set of Sex and the City and it recently brought to life again when it announced that there would be no third movie, despite having a script. Their onscreen equation with each other and with the other two ladies, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis is one of the best memories we have of the 90s show. "I don't think it's going to happen, although there's ways of getting around Kim Cattrall, you know what I mean? That many years spent doing something so special that people had a connection with is such a privilege".
