Canelo Álvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) and Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) will likely enter the ring at around 8 p.m. PT, following preliminary events. The quintessential Mexican boxer, Canelo is the master at infighting and evading punches in close range, while landing his own shots. This fight could have taken place two years ago but de la Hoya, his promoter, wanted to wait and believes that the timing is in his favour.
