Barcelona duo Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes join Everton

The club announced the signing of the former former Shakhtar Donetsk player just 21 minutes before the 5pm deadline.

The Colombian has signed a five-year deal, and expressed his delight upon completing his move to Goodison Park, while speaking to the official Everton website.

A frantic deadline day saw Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma arrive on a season-long loan at a club that toiled for most of last season.

Manchester United and Lyon had both tracked Colombia worldwide Mina, who signed a five-year deal after Barca sanctioned his £27.2 million sale.

Everton have signed André Gomes on loan from Barcelona.

While Bernard was finalising his transfer at Everton's Finch Farm training ground a club delegation led by the director of football, Marcel Brands, concluded deals for Mina and Gomes in Barcelona. This is a great opportunity for me and I am looking forward to competing here.

The fee represents a healthy profit for the Spanish champions, who signed Mina from Palmeiras for €11.8m (£10.6m) only in January and obtained a buy-back option in the deal.

"The manager made me feel confident about playing here". I know about Everton's players and I look forward to being able to play with my new team.

Moments later they also confirmed that Portugal worldwide Gomes would join the Premier League side on loan. "I am also determined to do my best for Everton".

I worked hard during my holiday and now I am ready to play and do important things with the Club.
