Twitter later tweeted that they learned it was a customer support employee who deactivated the account during their last day at work. Twitter said it would be conducting a full internal review . With Trump, who knows? Mr Trump has used Twitter to fight an ongoing battle against the media, repeatedly denouncing unfavourable stories as "fake news" and calling media outlets such as the "failing New York Times" who criticise him.

Zimbabwean police arrest U.S. citizen over Mugabe insult tweet
She had re-tweeted a post which apparently referred to Mugabe as a "selfish man and sick man", Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR), which is representing O'Donovan, said in a tweet. Police spokeswoman Charity Charamba could not be reached for comment on the new, much more serious, charge. The outlet describes itself as producing "satirical comedy sensations".
