Aspen Skiing and KSL Capital buy Intrawest in $1.5-billion US deal

Intrawest Resorts Holdings, Inc. said Monday it has agreed to be taken over by Aspen Skiing Company , L.L.C. and KSL Capital Partners, a private equity firm, for $23.75 U.S. Aspen Skiing Co. operates resorts in the Aspen region. Per the agreement , the iconic Steamboat Ski Resort will now be operated by Aspen Skiing Co.
