Uber Hires Longtime NASA Engineer to Work on 'Flying Cars'

Uber isn't constructing a flying vehicle yet. According to Bloomberg , he will be working on the company's nascent on-demand aviation service, also known as Uber's flying auto project. He also predicts we'll see several well-engineered flying cars in the next one to three years and that there will be human pilots, at least managing the onboard computers, for the foreseeable future.
