In response to an angry person on Twitter , Netflix explained that it's raising the price of its middle-tier plan for new customers in the USA, Canada, and parts of Latin America in order to bring more "great content" to users. Since the news made its rounds across various media outlets, Netflix's social media accounts have been hard at work answering various customer questions and complaints.

Netflix, for its part, has never seemed to think sharing passwords was that much of a problem .
