Browns acquire cornerback Damarious Randall from the Packers

Browns acquire CB Damarious Randall for QB De Shone Kizer as flurry of trades continues

Like the Rams, Cleveland will be finalizing four different trades on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET.

In their third transaction of the day, Cleveland traded quarterback DeShone Kizer to the Packer for cornerback Damarious Randall, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The Browns may still do that and are expected to use the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft on a QB.

The Green Bay Packers must have seen the Browns wheeling and dealing on Friday and noticed a buying opportunity. He played in 15 games as a rookie, passing for for 2,894 yards with 11 touchdowns and an bad 22 interceptions.

Earlier Friday afternoon, Cleveland reportedly acquired wide receiver Jarvis Landry from the Dolphins and quarterback Tyrod Taylor from the Bills.

Not only was accuracy an issue, but turnovers also added to the Browns' problems. It didn't help that he was constantly under pressure, being sacked 38 times.

A report says that the Green Bay Packers are giving one of their cornerbacks a new home, and getting in return a quarterback who will compete to be Aaron Rodgers' backup.

Trading for Randall means the Browns could target Minkah Fitzpatrick for free safety if they draft the Alabama defensive back with the fourth pick.

Kizer was thrown into the fire with the Browns and had to try to learn through experience-without the help of a veteran quarterback.
