"Right now I'm his only visitor outside of his attorneys, and that's the way he wants it", Wyatt said, noting that Cosby's wife Camille hasn't seen him in prison because "he doesn't want her to visit him".

Mr Wyatt added: "She has not visited him".

In an interview with NBC10, Cosby rep Andrew Wyatt was explicit: "Yeah, he used the term fantastic experience".

It seems Cosby is comparing himself to the likes of Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Since his time in prison, Cosby has received thousands of letters as well as thousands of dollars that have been placed on his books for use at the prison, Wyatt told WCAU.

In September, Cosby was sentenced to three to 10 years behind bars for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in 2004.

Per the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Cosby was in late January moved from a cell near the infirmary into the general population at the Philadelphia-area SCI Phoenix.

When questioned over Cosby's actual words, Wyatt reiterated, "Yeah".

Wyatt also said Cosby was unapologetic.

He believes he was later prosecuted by a corrupt district attorney and judge, "not for justice, but for their political aspirations", and launched a campaign to get a state judicial ethics board to investigate the judge who presided over his trials.

Since Cosby was admitted to the prison, he has undergone a transformation. A decade later, dozens of women came forward with accusations that Cosby had drugged and assaulted them in similar incidents over his career as a powerful media figure. "When I visit him, it's nothing sad about it", he said.

"He's mentally strong. He's just a strong man".

Instead, Cosby prefers to speak to his wife by phone, three times a day for three minutes each, Wyatt confirmed.

"He doesn't want people to try to exploit (Camille) and his daughters if they visit". Last week, the spokesman noted that Cosby has little interaction with the facility's other inmates. As for all other general population prisoners, Cosby must be accounted for in his cell seven times each day.
