Beyonce Unveils Her Twins

Jay-Z Introduces Vic Mensa At Mack Sennett Studios

Beyoncé shares first photo of her twins, Sir and Rumi Carter on Instagram.

Beyonce has confirmed the entertainment world's worst-kept secret - she has given birth to twins Sir Carter and Rumi.

It seems like we've all been making some assumptions around here to the contrary, but is there a chance that Beyoncé's twins are both boys? The trademark documents are presumably to protect the twins' names for future use on all things from fragrances to baby gear to bags and water bottles and cosmetic lines.

She and husband Jay-Z are parents to a five-year old Blue Ivy and recently revealed that they were fighting for their marriage in the past two years. They join their older sister, 5-year-old Blue Ivy, as the second and third children in the Carter family.

Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles cleared it all up later in her own Instagram post: one twin is a boy named Sir, period, and Rumi is a girl.

Beyoncé shared the first photo of her twins, Rumi and Sir, and celebs are insane in love with the stunning shot.

Bey announced she was expecting in February, posting a photo that has since become the most liked Instagram photo of all time. Beyonce captioned the image: "We would like to share our love and happiness".

This marks the first time that the world has seen a photo of the newest members of the Carter family. And let me tell you, it was well worth the wait.

In the post, liked by more than 11 million followers, the singer preemptively thanked fans for their well wishes.

The photo comes after weeks of speculation about when the singer might have given birth to the new arrivals, but we now know that she must have welcomed them around 14 June.
