Felix struck his third before Goncalo Paciencia headed in for the visitors.

The 21-year-old has reportedly been monitored by Barca in recent weeks, something his father Milan Jovic appears to have confirmed, but the interest does not seem to be mutual.

But Frankfurt's goal was also scored by a player contracted to Benfica as Luka Jovic, on loan from the Lisbon outfit, bagged the first-half equaliser and didn't shy away from celebrating.

Jovic himself has said that he would be open to staying at Frankfurt if the team make it into Europe's top competition.

The father of the Serbia global, though, says a switch to LaLiga's leaders is not appealing at this stage due to fears over a lack of playing time.

"He's not sure he would get any minutes at Barca".

"A few days ago Luka told me "Dad, I'm not anxious about money. Luka wants to play in Champions League and continue his progress at Eintracht".

Eintracht are fourth in the Bundesliga with a four-point cushion to Borussia Monchengladbach in the race for Champions League football.

"I would like to play here next season".

Luka Jovic levelled for the German side, but Felix's second and Ruben Dias' header put Benfica in control. According to Marca, Real Madrid are among the clubs interested in a move for the Serbian and sent scouts to watch their man in action on Thursday.

The Portuguese league leaders ran out 4-2 winners in the first leg of the Europa League quarter finals thanks to a hatrick from Joao Felix.
