'Bachelorette' finale: Rachel Lindsay picked…

"Bryan is like my best friend, like I cannot imagine him not in my life", Lindsay added. Peter answered the monk's questions nervously about needing to be with someone who you know is flawless for you.

Prepare for spoilers-and, since you didn't watch, you probably don't care.

On Monday night's finale of The Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay chose the man she'd like to spend the rest of her life with: Bryan Abasolo. For her, he's someone she can't see herself living without. There is something about a monastery, surrounded by God, that makes the idea of marriage very real, and I knew Peter was feeling the weight of that. "It's just that he takes his own pace, and that pace doesn't fit in this experience", she shared. In the morning, Rachel hopes to have more clarity, but she seems not to.

But you have to wonder. even if Rachel does love Bryan, does that whole heartfelt diatribe with Peter take away from it?

For the first time, the show went back and forth from live and taped portions, so viewers could see Rachel's reactions and hear her thoughts on what happened. In keeping with her attitude on the After the Final Rose, it's clear that Rachel wanted an engagement.

Calling their appearance the "After the After the Rose Spectacular", Kimmel asked Lindsay, "Rachel, tonight after an incredible journey, you chose Bryan".

"You see the emotional breakup that Peter [Kraus] and I had and he was ready to propose but at that point, I knew that he wasn't the one for me and it was really important for me to not have two men standing up there at the end", she said. He says that he'll sacrifice and propose because he believes she's the right person. Bryan and Rachel seemed to be on the same page about everything, however it was Peter that caused complications. It's more of a challenge that I can fix.

After a tense and heartfelt mid-episode stand-off between Rachel and Peter, things didn't look good for the couple.

In Spanish, Bryan told her that she was so pretty.

"I am the best version of myself when I'm with you", he said. He then went on to say how much has changed in his life since Rachel came in.

He confirms the story by sharing that he "walked by her eyelashes on the floor for two days", which is gross.

Congratulations Rachel and Bryan! They both cry. "I think we're both going to regret this decision", Peter says. "You are everything I could ever want in a woman, a wife, the mother of my children", he says. This made total and complete sense to me, but, at the same time, in love there are no sure things and sometimes you just have to jump.

Then Rachel speaks and admits she has fallen in love with Bryan too. "By mere gesture of choosing to participate in this television show though, all involved have shown bravery and resolve that I think everyone should aspire to in their private and public lives alike".
