‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Soars to $2 Billion at Worldwide Box Office

After Avatar and Titanic Avengers Infinity becomes fourth film to enter the $ 2 Billion club at the worldwide box office

All of those films were released over the winter holidays.

Infinity War, the penultimate installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's biggest story arc, is also the first summer movie to make it into the $2 billion club, dethroning summer record holder Jurassic World.

Several months later, and Avengers: Infinity War is still the talk of the (movie lovers) town. "But if you like Infinity War, there's some stuff to come", Renner teased. Infinity War posted opening weekend numbers of over Rs 120 crore.

Internationally, Infinity War is the third highest grossing release ever with $1.346B.

Much of Infinity War's total has come from global box office receipts, particularly in China, where it's earned $369.7 million and become the country's third highest-grossing film ever.

Avengers: Infinity War is now playing everywhere.

Internationally, it is the third-highest grossing release ever with $1.346 billion, and its combined domestic and global debuts set a record of $640.5 million. The same report predicts a sure-shot $2 billion gross for Avengers 4.

The Avengers will assemble again for the still-untitled fourth film, set for May 3, 2019.

The film got a flying start in India too by recording a gross box office collection of Rs 120.9 crore in its opening weekend.

It is also the most successful Hollywood film ever released in India. I have a feeling we're going to be having this exact same discussion again then, and if Avengers 4 is anywhere as good as Infinity War was, then I can't wait to see it dominate as well.

Directed by the Russo brothers, Infinity War features an all-star cast comprising Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, and Josh Brolin.
