Assassin's Creed Origins Season Pass Includes Roman, Undead Mummy DLC
Oct 11 2017
All in all, it's clear that Ubisoft intend to fully support Assassin's Creed: Origins long after the game's release date, and the mix of free and paid content will offer an incentive to all players to keep playing the game.
Purchasing the season pass will grant you two story-driven expansions called The Hidden Ones and The Curse of the Pharaohs. This first piece of content is expected by January 2018. Following that will be The Curse of the Pharaohs, in which "players will fight against undead Pharaohs and explore a new, mystical realm".
The Roman Centurion and Horus packs - These exclusive item packs will grant Season Pass holders a new outfit, weapons, shield, and mount when they become available in November of this year.
Nomad's Bazaar: At launch, a wandering merchant gives players daily quests to complete to earn mysterious, exotic rewards. The Curse of the Pharaohs will increase the level cap further and introduce brand new Abilities.
As the website alluded to, Photo Modes have become more common these days, especially in open world games.
An image has surfaced online detailing the "free activities" that the game will be receiving post-launch. You also get Helix Credits and a rare weapon if you purchase the Season Pass. Games like Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Forza Motorsport 7 have seen significant backlash over their crates of in-game prizes, with fans concerned about gambling business models, and it's why many fans were disappointed to learn that Assassin's CreedOrigins will also feature loot boxes.
If you don't want to get the season pass, you can still get new content in the form of free updates.
Q1 earnings of Ubisoft's PRI, which includes digital game add-ons, in-game purchases/microtransactions, and DLC packs, has grown signficantly year-over-year. A horde mode will be added in early 2018 where players face off against enemy waves in a Gladiator arena.
The current release date is October 27, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation4 and Xbox One.
Journeying along with Bayek in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" is being described as an exhilarating experience, but there may be times when the game can still deliver something special even when action-packed battles are not taking place.
