Arsenal's Ramsey set for Juventus medical on January 13

Arsenal want Hector Herrera to replace Aaron Ramsey in the summer

Aaron Ramsey has signed a five-year deal worth $46 million with Juventus.

However, despite his influence on the Gunners, talks over a new contract were unexpectedly halted earlier this season, when the North London club rescinded their offer of a new deal and informed him that he was free to leave. He will be fondly remembered by Arsenal fans, most of whom wish he wasn't going.

The Guardian have claimed that Ramsey will earn upwards of £140,000 per week, making him the club's second-highest paid player behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

Aaron Ramsey is reportedly on the verge of completing a transfer to Juventus, but there's still a possibility of the Welsh midfielder staying in England.

It is why a move to Juventus has appealed to him so much, with Massimiliano Allegri generally using a three-man midfield which will allow Ramsey to play the role he craves.

The BBC reporter adds: "However, although there is still a possibility the situation might change, it is nearly certain the former Cardiff player will go overseas".

'And I was very happy with him in the last match. "We can only loan players", said Emery. He asked in Blackpool to play, he said: "Coach, I want to play".

Arsenal fans just hope he doesn't end up joining a Premier League rival, because according to BBC Sport's David Ornstein, the Wales global has a preference if he were to stay in England.

'His future is for him, his family and his agent.

Despite agreeing a deal with Juventus, a lot can still change for Ramsey between now and the end of the season. Every day he's here with us, he's working very well.
