Ariana Grande slams Grammys producer and accuses him of lying

Sweetener heard Grande rebounding from what most could have only imagined would be the tragedy of her lifetime - the Manchester Arena bombing, which killed 22 people at her concert in May of 2017. "I've kept my mouth shut but now you're lying about me", Grande tweeted. The "Thank U, Next" singer is nominated for two Grammys and was tapped to perform Sunday, but a report this week claimed she backed out after a disagreement with producers and will no longer attend the show. Sources said that Grande felt "insulted" when producers pushed back on her choice to perform her new single "7 Rings" and suggested that she perform a medley that began with the song and then transitioned into a song they chose. "It's like I'm the universe and you'll be N-A-S-A", she sings in the pre-chorus.

"It's about collaboration. It's about feeling supported", Grande tweeted.

The petite performer went on to say she offered the Grammys three songs.

She adds that she's "still grateful for the acknowledgement this year", but she will not be attending the show. In the video, Grande exchanges flirty glances with a man she meets (along with his girlfriend) at a club. Feeling badly bc he can tell he can't compare....

This year's ceremony will see performances from Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Diana Ross with nominations led by Kendrick Lamar.

Other samples Grande includes are "The Sound of Music" song "My Favorite Things" appearing in "7 Rings" and 'NSYNC's "It Makes Me Ill" on "Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored".

It also includes Imagine, a song believed to be inspired by the death of Mac Miller, Grande's ex-boyfriend who died in September previous year.

Grande refused to take this lying down. "I'm so proud of you for standing up to those antiquated old farts who produce the #Grammy Awards telecast and run the Recording Academy".

We hope Ari's doing OK, but most of all, we hope she keeps dropping albums. She had a great album.

Ariana Grande's eagerly awaited album has arrived and she gave fans a little bit extra.
